Zelensky talks about plans to expand the 'grain initiative'

Nikolaev ports are to be included in the "grain initiative".
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a joint briefing with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in Odessa:
"In our opinion, the time has come to extend the 'grain initiative', in particular, to the ports of the Mykolayiv region and remove any obstacles that restrict the relevant movement of ships. I hope for Danish support in this matter.
Zelenskyy stressed that it was important that food exports from Ukraine, in particular from Odessa, not only be preserved but also be expanded.
A reminder that under the "grain initiative" brokered by Turkey and the UN, the Black Sea provides for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products from the ports of Chornomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhnyy and the creation of safe routes. On 1 August, the first vessel with Ukrainian grain left Odessa since 24 February.
