The Golden Globes anniversary awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles, with Zelensky speaking


The triumphant winner was Steven Spielberg with his film The Fabelmans.
This year marked the 80th anniversary of the Golden Globe Awards, with a list of all the winners posted on its official Twitter feed.
In the world of cinema, the award went to:
- best director - Steven Spielberg, The Fabelmans;
- best screenplay - Martin McDonagh, "Banshee Inisherina";
- best drama film - "The Fabelmans";
- best comedy film - "Banshee Inisherina";
- best animated film - "Pinocchio", Guillermo del Toro;
- best film that is not in English: "Argentina, 1985" by Santiago Mitre.
Best comedy actor this year was Colin Farrell for his role in Inisherina's Banshee, but best comedy actress was Michelle Yeoh in All at Once.
The statuette for best dramatic actress this year went to Cate Blanchett, who won the award for her role in the biographical drama Thar. Best dramatic actor went to Austin Butler for Elvis.
Among the series, the Golden Globe went to the acclaimed prequel, House of the Dragon (drama series) and the satirical comedy White Lotus and the pseudo-documentary Abbott Elementary School.
Actors were honoured for their roles in the series as follows:
- best actress in a mini-series - Amanda Seyfried, The Departed;
- best Actor in a Mini-Series - Evan Peters, Dahmer;
- best actor in a drama series: Kevin Costner, Yellowstone;
- best actress in a drama series, Zendaya, Euphoria;
- best Actor in a Comedy Series - Jeremy Allen White, Bear;
- best Actress in a Comedy Series - Quinta Brunson, Abbott Elementary School.
This year the honorary award for Contribution to Television went to Ryan Murphy and for Contribution to Cinematography to Eddie Murphy.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy also took the floor at the ceremony. He recalled the origins of the award, which had emerged during World War II, and drew parallels with the current war in Ukraine.
There will not be a third world war. Ukraine will stop Russian aggression.
