Vereshchuk explained what payments evacuees can claim

The authorities announced a mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region.
In total, the authorities intend to take out about 250 thousand people from the Donetsk region. People are being evacuated to neighboring regions. At the same time, their transportation and accommodation is free of charge. The state also guarantees people one-time and additional payments. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk. According to her, the process of making payments has already been established.
Speaking about financial support, she noted that those evacuated from the Donetsk region are entitled to a one-time payment, immediately upon arrival at the evacuation point.
For example, people came to Kropyvnytskyi and they immediately received help, give them money, - Vereshchuk explained.
She clarified that upon arrival, 2,000 hryvnias are paid for an adult, 3,000 hryvnias for a child, and 3,000 hryvnias for a person with a disability. In addition, in the future, evacuees will also receive additional payments every month.
We are talking about monthly payments from our international organizations. If there are three or more children, this is UNICEF. If they are people with limited mobility, then this is the UN, the Red Cross, and other organizations,” she said.
It should be noted that on July 28, in the Donetsk region, the authorities announced a large-scale evacuation. People were warned that in the region there is a risk not only of falling under shelling, but also of being left without food, medicine and heat. Mass evacuation started on 2 August. People are transported by trains to Kropyvnytskyi. At the same time, you can also take your pets with you.
