Ukraine has already received more than 70 M777 howitzers from the United States

According to him, about half of the ammunition for them "is now in Ukrainian hands," deliveries continue every day.

It is noted that more than 220 Ukrainian servicemen have already been trained in the rules for operating these howitzers.

On May 3, more than 50 Ukrainians will arrive at one of the training grounds to begin training at the end of this week, a Pentagon spokesman said.
