The Cabinet of Ministers plans to double the compensation for asylum for displaced persons

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration Irina Vereshchuk.

Some problems cannot be solved only at the regional level. Therefore, we raised the issue of changes to the regulations under the jurisdiction of the Cabinet of Ministers. People expect that the Shelter program will work so much that not 450 but 900 hryvnias will become mandatory as compensation from the state, as well as from international partners, so that people can accommodate the next IDPs, which, unfortunately, will still be many, because the war continues, the shelling does not decrease, and we understand that the winter will be brutal,” Irina Vereshchuk told the reintegration center.
