Will Independence Day be a holiday during the war?

Because of the war, wages on Independence Day will be the same as for a typical working day.
Independence Day is the major state holiday of Ukraine, celebrated on August 24. According to Article 73 of the Labor Code, August 24 (Independence Day of Ukraine) is a holiday and non-working day.
Martial law has been extended until November 21, so August 24 will be a working day.
During martial law, the norms of articles 71-73 of the Labor Code (holidays and non-working days) do not apply. This means that there are no official holidays and non-working days in Ukraine. The employer sets working hours and rest periods.
The maximum duration of the working week during the war has been increased and is no longer 40 but 60 hours (Part 1, Article 6 of Law No. 2136). The abolished holidays can be included in the norm of working hours and paid in a single amount if the employer does not decide that such a day will be a day off and not paid.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the celebration of Independence Day would take place this year, but without loud festivities and expensive events.
