Syrsky indicated by what date Russia plans to seize Chasov Yar

Russian troops are trying to break through the AFU defence west of Bakhmut.
The Russian leadership has set a clear deadline for the army to capture Chasovy Yar. Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyy, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said on Facebook that the occupants plan to capture the town before 9 May.
According to him, the occupiers are using numerical advantage and a variety of motivational factors, among them shootings.
The realisation of the enemy's plans is hindered by the heroic defence of our brigades, which literally burrowed into the ground, holding back daily enemy attacks. Separate groups of enemy infantry entered the Novy microdistrict, but were destroyed by FPV kamikaze strikes and artillery fire," said Syrsky.
Also the enemy is creating conditions for further advance into Kramatorsk agglomeration.
The AFU commander-in-chief said that in order to respond to the enemy's actions and strengthen the defence of our troops in this direction, measures were taken to significantly reinforce brigades with ammunition, drones, and REB means.
According to Syrsky, based on the results of his two-day work at the front, the conclusion was made about the need to improve the quality of training, including the moral and psychological component, to increase the number of high-tech unmanned systems for various purposes with trained operators, to improve the quality of asymmetric actions in order to reduce the enemy's combat potential.
Earlier, Syrsky reported that the enemy is actively attacking AFU positions with assault groups supported by armoured vehicles. This is facilitated by warm, dry weather, which has made most of the open terrain accessible to tanks.
