Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki urgently convened a committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defence in the evening of 15 November, after consulting with the country's president.



According to local media, Polish government spokesman Piotr Muller told journalists about the "crisis situation" and urged them not to publish unverified information.

The information that will be presented at the committee will be later, if possible, made public to the maximum extent possible. I urge you not to publish unconfirmed information until then, Mueller said.

Earlier, Polish media published information about an explosion at a farm near the border with Ukraine. Two people died there and services and representatives of the army are on the spot. The cause of the explosion is not yet known. Meanwhile, the Polish Air Force flew fighters from the Tomaszów Lubelski airfield into the air.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said that a total of 100 ballistic missiles were aimed at Ukrainian territory. This is the most massive missile attack since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
