If martial law continues, women of certain professions will not be able to travel abroad


In the event that martial law in Ukraine is extended until October 1, 2022, women liable for military service will be registered for military service according to the list of specialties and professions related to the corresponding military specialties, after which women will be registered for military registration.
As they write #Letters , by order of the Ministry of Defense No. 313 dated 10/11/2021, the "List of specialties and / or professions related to the corresponding military specialties, after which women are taken to the military registration of those liable for military service" and "List of specialties and / or professions related to the corresponding military registration specialties". This list includes the following specialties:
- Chemistry, chemical technologies and engineering; biology;
- Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, Computer Engineering,
- Food technologies, development of production and processing of livestock products;
- dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical diagnostic and treatment technologies;
- Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Bioengineering;
- veterinary medicine, veterinary hygiene;
- Accounting and taxation, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, economics, money, banking and insurance;
- Publishing and printing;
- State security;
- Transport technologies;
- construction and civil engineering, architecture and urban planning, geodesy and land management;
- Air transport; aviation and rocket and space technology;
- Electronics;
- Journalism, vocational education (by specialization), special education;
- Psychology, sociology, political science, social work, social security;
- Railway transport;
- Fire safety.
- Women who have acquired the specialties included in the list must be registered for military service from October 1, 2022, in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Defense No. 35 of 02/07/2022.
According to the norms of part 12 of article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On military duty and military service", women who are registered with the military may be called up for military service or recruited to perform work to ensure the defense of the state in wartime.
At present, there are no restrictions on the departure of women who are not directly related to military affairs abroad. You can also leave:
- women and men who have three or more children under the age of 18;
- women and men independently raising a child (children) under the age of 18;
- women and men, guardians, trustees, adoptive parents, parent-educators raising a child with a disability under the age of 18;
- women and men, guardians, caregivers, adoptive parents, parent-educators raising a child with severe perinatal lesions of the nervous system, severe congenital malformations, rare orphan diseases;
- women and men who maintain an adult child who is a person with a disability of group I or II;
- adoptive parents, guardians, custodians, adoptive parents, parent-educators who support orphans or children deprived of parental care, under the age of 18;
- employees of military command and control bodies (management bodies), military units (divisions), enterprises, institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine;
- applicants for professional (vocational), professional higher and higher education, trainee assistants, graduate students and doctoral students studying in full-time or dual forms of education.
