The AFU says there are problems in liberating the Kynbursk Spit

The enemy cannot concentrate permanent and large groups of its troops there.

Yevhen Yerin, head of the joint press centre of the Defence Forces of the Tavrian direction, said during an information telethon:

I want to explain to everyone that the liberation of both the islands and the Kynburne spit is possible only during the general liberation of our territories. The separate liberation of the Kynburne spit is not quite expedient, because there is open terrain, and a fire attack from the enemy can cause more damage than we will get advantages during the liberation of this territory.

Yerin added that the issue of the Kynburn Spit, as regards control over the islands, they will definitely be resolved when the entire Kherson region is liberated.

We shall remind you that earlier the UC Yug reported that on the Kynburn Spit and the islands in Kherson Region, the Yug Defense Forces continue to resist the enemy, with the enemy suffering losses in both manpower and equipment.
