The Russians use Rosgvardia units to increase their control over their personnel.

In an evening briefing, the General Staff reported:

To maintain military discipline and prevent the spread of panic among the occupation troops operating in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy has deployed Rosgvardia units. Yes, it has become known that on January 5 near the village of Chistopolye, six people were shot dead who wanted to surrender to the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Also on the Kherson direction, the occupants do not stop shelling settlements along the right bank of the Dnieper River. Once again, Kherson was hit by Russian multiple rocket launchers.

The General Staff said that there was a danger of air and missile strikes by the enemy against critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine. Be vigilant and do not ignore air alerts.
