US military urged to prepare for another war

The Pentagon predicts war will begin in 2025.
US Air Force General Mike Manihan has sent a memo to subordinates urging them to prepare for war with China in 2025, the Washington Post reports.
The general, who heads the transport and refueling aviation of American troops, urged his subordinates to speed up preparations for a potential conflict with China, referring to the actions of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In doing so, he hoped he was wrong and cited his intuition.
My intuition tells me that we will be at war in 2025. Xi achieved his third term and formed his military council in October 2022. The presidential election in Taiwan will be in 2024 and Xi will have a cause. The US presidential election will be in 2024 and it will distract America. Xi's team, cause and opportunity are all set for 2025," Minihan wrote.
Minihan also orders airmen eligible to carry guns - to train, for example, to "shoot a clip at a 7-metre target in a month, and aim only at the head." He also pointed out that shooting training should be made "more aggressive".
Minihan asked them, among other things, to settle personal matters.
Note that in September 2022, US President Joe Biden said that the United States military would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.
The United States is the main international arms supplier to Taiwan.
At the same time, the Pentagon responded to the newspaper that the general's opinion is only his personal position.
