The Ministry of Integration told who they plan to punish for obtaining a Russian passport

This was reported by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

Hostile passportization, pressure to impose the passport of the Russian Federation is completely unlawful and illegal. Obtaining a Russian passport for TOT (temporarily occupied territories - ed.) is justified only if a person using this “document” tries to return to free Ukraine through the Russian Federation and third countries, the ministry notes.

punishment is proposed to be established by:

• acquisition of citizenship and / or obtaining a passport of the aggressor state by state officials or representatives of local government in the absence of signs of treason;
• propaganda, public appeals, coercion to do so;
• restriction of the rights of people who have not received citizenship or passports of the aggressor state.

The bill was developed in cooperation with the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Security Service of Ukraine, human rights activists and people's deputies.
