In Ukraine, they conducted an examination of A-95 gasoline. Details

The Institute of Consumer Expertise for the first time since the beginning of the war conducted a study of A-95 gasoline.
A significant part of all-Ukrainian networks, as well as serious regional players, passed the test. The results of the study are published on the website of the Institute of Consumer Expertise.
The fuel crisis in Ukraine is over. This should be thanked, first of all, to the importers, who in a few months redirected supplies from the aggressor country to Western refineries, and secondly, to our government. The decision to actually abolish the Euro 5 standard, or rather, to legalize the norms of the Euro 4 and Euro 3 standards was timely and allowed filling the market. But the holiday turned out to be “tears in the eyes” - all kinds of bodyjars and “samovars” threw an incredible amount of low-quality and therefore dangerous fuel onto the market, the study says.
The experts divided the results obtained in the laboratory into zones - green, blue and red.
Green zone: gasoline complies with the European standard (Euro-5).
6 networks turned out to be in the green zone of the leaders: "WOG", "OKKO", "KLO", "PRIME", "AVANTAGE 7" and "ZOG". First of all, the most important parameter for engine operation was checked - the octane number.
Blue zone: gasoline with minor quality deviations (Euro 4).
Discounters "BVS" and "NEFTEK" turned out to be here. Minor deviations from the Euro 5 standard were recorded for "BVS" in terms of sulfur content of 14 mg/kg.
Red zone: the fuel does not meet any standards at all and is a surrogate.
In the red zone - a real joy for lovers of savings. Gasoline A-95 in the networks of "BRSM NAFTA", "MARSHALL", "NPG", "UKRPETROL", "RUR", "VESTA" and just nameless barrels on the side of the road is a time machine. A time that sends motorists back to the 90s and before the era of carburetors.
In "MARSHALL", "VESTA", "NPG" and "UKRPETROL" the octane number turned out to be much lower than required - from 92 to 93 units. And this is a clear marker of home-made fuel made in artisanal conditions. But the "record holders" simply put the experts into a stupor - a mixture bought at the RUR gas station in the Kirovograd region - 78.8 units. Not too far behind and "barrel" in Kyiv - 85.8 units. A direct consequence of the price, which is 10 UAH/liter less than competitors.

In general, the results of the study suggest quite obvious conclusions. While market leaders in all corners of Europe are contracting volumes of normal fuel, bodybuilders are taking advantage of a difficult situation and earning super-profits on our health and the budgets of motorists. At the same time, they don’t even try to follow any rules. Tens of millions of hryvnias are being invested in new “productions”, since there are no more legal refineries left, they have been destroyed by the aggressor’s missile strikes. At the same time, another question arises - they had logistical opportunities when the market was choking on a shortage, but they were in no hurry to use them. Doesn't this look like deliberate sabotage? The answer must be provided by the relevant authorities. It is important to remember that the Victory is not far off, and in peaceful life there should be no counterfeits and fakes. This must be fought. And you need to think about it now, - summed up at the Institute of Consumer Expertise.
