In which regions of Ukraine most often buy real estate

The greatest interest among buyers of real estate in Ukraine is observed in the western regions. The President of the Association of Realtors, Yuriy Pita, said this in an interview with Ukrainian News.

He noted that there is a buyer in any region, but more in the western regions, because the lease is more active there, and the investor can buy for rent.

And the primary market began to behave more actively there. He didn't stop, in fact. In April and March, housing construction continued there. The secondary market is also more active,” he said.

At the same time, the specialist noted that interest has grown not only in the housing stock, but also in commercial real estate. Also, foreign investors began to enter the market.

According to him, there are also interested potential buyers in Kyiv who ask.

In turn, Vladimir Sementsov, co-founder and managing partner of INSPI Development, said that in the near future Ukraine could experience a shortage of real estate. The main factors that will spur this process will be:

• stop many buildings;
• a large number of destroyed houses;
• migration processes;
• rising cost of building materials;
• labor shortage.

He added that due to the strong growth in the price of building materials, it is expected that the cost of 1 sq. m. will also grow by 5-10%.
