Arakhamia said whether a new round of negotiations is possible

The Ukrainian side now sees no reason to initiate continuation of negotiations with the Russian Federation.
David Arakhamia, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with Russia, stated this on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon on June 3.
Now the pause [in the talks] is quite justified. Big fighting continues in the east. And until there is some big change at the front - we, of course, hope that the change will be ours, we will de-occupy ... We are already de-occupying many villages, but, unfortunately, they are also occupying new settlements ... Negotiations need to be continued when our negotiating position will be strengthened,” the people’s deputy noted.
He stressed that the negotiating position can be strengthened by weapons from international partners, when Ukraine receives them in sufficient quantities. He stressed that the defenders of Ukraine are already trained and ready to use new weapons.
Then, with a strengthened negotiating position, we can initiate a new round of negotiations,” Arakhamia summed up.
