The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of persons who can receive a deferment from conscription

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on Facebook.

The corresponding draft Law of Ukraine was supported by the Government at its regular meeting. It will enter into force after the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada.

The document provides for the possibility of booking for employees:

• bodies of state power and local self-government, if their work is necessary to ensure the functioning of these bodies in wartime;
• at enterprises and organizations that have set mobilization tasks, if employees are involved in their implementation;
• at enterprises producing defense products, or those that are necessary to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
• at enterprises, institutions and organizations that are critical for the functioning of the economy and the livelihoods of the population in a special period.

Also, the bill will enable persons who are not subject to conscription to voluntarily enter the service.

Among these categories of the population are people with disabilities, persons temporarily unsuitable for military service, reserved workers, women and men who have more than 3 children, parents of children with disabilities, etc., the Ministry of Economy added.
