Rescuer of the State Emergency Service Volodymyr Skovorodka ran an ultramarathon of 50 km in full equipment weighing more than 25 kg and set a new Ukrainian record.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

On the Day of the Rescuer, Volodymyr Skovorodka ran in full firefighter-rescuer equipment, weighing more than 25 kilograms, a distance of 50 kilometres, which is a new record of Ukraine.

After setting the record, the rescuer ran another 12.7 kilometres.

Overcoming such a distance should demonstrate the strength and endurance of Ukrainian rescuers, who are the first to come to the rescue.

Also the route of the run was built in such a way as to draw people's attention to the places where the occupants hit the capital of Ukraine.

The run is dedicated to the memory of dead rescuers and civilians who were victims of Russian bombing 🕯

Charity collection for the needs of rescuers of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine continued during the race.
