Police, rescue and evacuation teams continue their work in the city.
This was reported by the National Police Headquarters in Donetsk Region.
According to official data, about 5,990 civilians remain in Bakhmut, Donetsk Region, where fierce battles with the occupants are ongoing, including about 200 children.
Despite the damaged police station, the duty unit, investigative teams and White Angels evacuators continue to operate in the city on a 24/7 basis.
There are still cases where people refuse to leave the city despite the constant shelling. Children remain with them as well.
If people refuse to evacuate to other regions of Ukraine, they agree to transport them at least to safer areas of the Donetsk region.
They can go to their relatives, friends, acquaintances, or simply choose a quieter city in the region to live in.
The police ask for help from the White Angel evacuation team to get out of the city. The service phone number is 066-56-15-102.
