Russian Federation denies Russian claims that it is blocking a road supplying the Armed Forces in Bakhmut

Russian troops have failed to cut the route used to supply Ukrainian defenders in Bakhmut.
Earlier, the Russian Federation said that its troops partially controlled the Chasov Yar - Bakhmut highway, which supplies Ukrainian troops.
The speaker of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevatyy, said in a national TV marathon broadcast:
Bakhmut continues to be one of the main areas of the enemy's strike - there they hit our positions 197 times with rocket-propelled artillery, 42 combat clashes occurred. The enemy lost powerfully in personnel during this day: 277 enemies were killed, 258 were wounded in varying degrees. The fighting took place in the area of Sporny, Krasnaya Gora, Paraskoveyevka, Bakhmut, Kleshchyivka.
Asked whether Russian troops succeeded in blocking the highway, Chrevaty replied:
So far they have not succeeded. Everything is being done to prevent them from blocking traffic to our units. All the necessary ammunition, equipment, food and ammunition are being delivered to Bakhmut.
