Defence forces succeed in Melitopol direction - Urshalovich

This was reported by Colonel Mykola Urshalovych during a briefing at the Military Media Centre.

According to him, the defence forces are successfully advancing in the Melitopol direction. Ukrainian defenders have advanced hundreds of metres deep into the enemy defence in this direction and up to 1,500 metres across the width of the front.

Units of one of the operational brigades of the National Guard in the course of offensive actions advanced up to 650 metres into the depth of the enemy defence, 1,500 metres across the front and consolidated on the occupied boundary," Urshalovich said.

He also noted that the military "Offensive Guards" are already performing tasks at the front. They have joined the composition of battalions in the southern direction, where they take part in offensive actions.
