Russian military shelled a residential area of Nikolaev

The Russian military fired at houses in the Ship area of Nikolaev. As a result of the incident, three civilians were killed. This was announced by the mayor of the city Alexander Senkevich in Telegram.

As of 15:00, three dead are known - two of them died at the scene of shelling, one person died on the way to the hospital. Four more people were also injured - doctors are fighting for their lives, the mayor said.

He also noted that due to the shelling, three residential high-rise buildings were damaged.

It is known that the beaches and coastal recreation areas of Nikolaev are closed to visitors. During martial law in Nikolaev it is prohibited:

• use floating facilities;
• install water attractions;
• equip places for water sports and physical culture and recreation activities.
