Russian Federation amasses aircraft at Ukraine's borders for offensive - media

Journalists citing Western intelligence reports that Russia is amassing aviation near Ukraine's borders. This may indicate that Moscow is preparing to deploy aviation to support a counter-offensive.

Western officials say the Russian ground offensive is stalling, so they want to move the battles into the air. Foreign sources say Ukraine needs to have as many air defenses as possible.

This is why Ukraine's allies are now giving us air defence means and artillery ammunition.

More than 80 per cent are probably safe and available... So we expect that they are preparing to launch an air campaign and trying to disable the Ukrainian air defence through attacks.
