Russian Federation plans offensive on Soledar

Russia begins moving its main offensive forces from near Bakhmut closer to Soledar
This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The battles for Bakhmut have been going on for six months and Western experts are surprised by the persistence with which Russia wants to seize the town because "it has no great strategic importance". Occupation of the town would have a greater impact on the psychological state of the Russian troops.
WSJ stresses that such actions by Russia do not indicate that it has completely abandoned its plans to occupy Bakhmut.
Fighting in the Soledar area has been going on for a long time, but the very fact of such a transfer of soldiers may indicate that the Ukrainian armed forces forced the Russians to change their tactics.
According to the website, high-ranking Ukrainian military officials believe that the occupiers, having despaired of achieving results near Bakhmut, decided to test the AFU defence near Soledar.
