Energy minister tells which regions have the worst electricity situation
The most difficult situation is in the Odessa and Kiev regions.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said this on his FB page
According to him, there are damages to generation facilities and power grids. Because of this, the situation with electricity may be difficult in some regions.
Unfortunately, there is some damage to generation facilities and power grids. As of 11.00 am, the situation is difficult in the west of the country, in Odessa and Kiev regions. So there will be emergency blackouts.
He also thanked the air defense forces for their excellent work and added that the energy sector is already resuming power supply.
According to Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, now 40 per cent of users in Kiev are without light
Meanwhile, heat and water supply in the capital is functioning normally, except for houses without power supply, on which boiler houses depend.
