Republicans ask Biden to give Ukraine long-range weapons

The two Republicans said so in a statement.

It is time for the Biden and Scholz governments to follow the lead of our British and Eastern European allies - Leopard 2 tanks, ATACMS and other long-range precision-guided munitions should be approved without delay.

The statement was made by Michael McCaul, head of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Mike Rogers, head of the Armed Services Committee.

Republicans believe that all this political indecision could lead to a prolongation of the war.
