The International Committee of the Red Cross financed a project to help Ukrainians who were forced to live under occupation.
Residents of the liberated territories of the Kharkiv region already receive 1,200 hryvnias each in cash. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk in Telegram.
The Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories launched a project in a pilot mode, with the financial support of the Red Cross of Ukraine and the International Committee of the Red Cross, with the support of the head of the Kharkiv region Oleg Sinegubov.
Irina Vereshchuk stressed that the authorities must do everything in their power to evacuate the inhabitants of the newly de-occupied territories, where life support systems have not yet been restored. It is also necessary to provide internally displaced persons already living in places of compact residence with everything they need: from financial assistance to warm clothes and food.
