on 14 July, the bodies of dead Ukrainian servicemen from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were repatriated



This was reported in the Ministry of Reintegration.

The bodies of 62 more defenders were recovered. Of these, four died in enemy captivity as a result of injury, illness and improper medical care," the ministry said.

It is noted that the transfer of the bodies of the dead is carried out in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Conventions. After identification, the dead will be handed over to their relatives for a decent burial.

The transfer of bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine took place with the assistance of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, - added in the department.

Also, the Ministry of Reintegration reminds that the hotline of the Commissioner for Missing Persons is working.

Earlier Socialportal reported that 45 Ukrainians, including two civilians, were returned home from captivity.
