Estonia made a statement regarding the probable sending of troops to Ukraine

This was reported by Breaking Defence with reference to a statement by the Estonian president's national security adviser Madis Roll.

According to him, Estonian servicemen could do jobs that are not related to direct combat operations. For example, they could work in the rear in western Ukraine. At the moment, Estonia is still discussing such a possibility.

Madis Roll said that Tallinn would prefer to take such a step as part of a full NATO mission, but at the same time is ready to act as part of a smaller coalition.

We have to consider all possibilities. We should not limit ourselves in what we can do," the adviser said.

According to him, the NATO countries that oppose sending troops to Ukraine may eventually change their decision.

Earlier Socialportal reported that the United States is considering sending additional military advisers to the American embassy in Kiev. It is assumed that they will not take part in combat operations.
