Dollar at UAH 50: the government published a macro forecast for the next year

This was reported in "Economic Truth," referring to sources in the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the Ministry of Economy calculations, Ukraine's GDP should grow by 4.6% next year. At the same time, by the end of 2022, it will decrease by 33.2%.

The government also expects prices to continue skyrocketing next year.

Thus, the macro forecast inflation for 2023 should be 30.6% (as of June, it was 22.2%). The unemployment rate, according to the calculations of the Ministry of Economy, should be 28.2%, and the average salary - is UAH 18,508, reports Economic Truth.

Based on the macro forecast, as a rule, the Ministry of Finance should draw up a budget for the following year.

As a rule, the government's macro forecasts come true quite rarely. The Economic Truth added that a macro forecast is required solely to calculate future revenues and expenditures in the budget.
