Kyiv is among the top three cities with the most polluted air in the world

Santiago (Chile) is in first place in the air pollution rating, Kyiv is in second, and Dubai (UAE) is third.

Meanwhile, a strong smell of burning is heard in the capital today.

The State Emergency Service says that the reason is a fire on a peat bog in the Vyshgorod district.

Residents of Kiev are advised to keep windows closed due to strong smoke in the air.

Until the situation with the state of the air improves, the specialists of the State Emergency Service recommend:

• close the windows of the house;
• do not go outside once again;
• if there is an air cleaner, then turn it on to the maximum.

The State Emergency Service urged citizens to remain calm and assured that the situation with fires in the ecosystems of the region is fully controlled.
