Danilov talks of Russian plans to stage a coup in Moldova
Ukraine has warned Moldova that Russia wants a coup d'état.
The secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Alexei Danilov, said on national TV marathon:
Let's not say that nothing has happened in Moldova. The change of the country's leadership is taking place there now, the power bloc is being strengthened as much as possible.
Danilov also revealed that the Russian Federation is planning a coup in Moldova and has sent Chechen "rescuers" to Turkey. After that, they may end up in Chisinau specifically.
Danilov added:
"Those who were on 24-25-26 February as part of the so-called 'Chechen group' on our territory are now already in Turkey and are working there as 'rescuers'. We are now closely monitoring to ensure that these 'rescuers' do not end up in Chisinau. We know their names and surnames. They have had a personal task since 24 February.
