"Big construction" is back: the Verkhovna Rada allowed to use money not only for the army

On August 30, the Verkhovna Rada voted in the first reading for the draft law 7669.

The law provides for changes in the law of Ukraine "On the state budget of Ukraine for 2022", on the use of the state road fund. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, people's deputy of the Holos faction, announced this.

The budget changes remove the rule that the money from the Road Fund can only go to military needs and pay off debts. In short, they open up the opportunity to build roads again instead of sending money to the army,” the people's deputy said.

The law was supported by 241 people's deputies.
