198 children have become victims of Russian aggression in Ukraine


Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, 198 children have died at the hands of the invaders, and at least 355 more have been injured.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
More than 553 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. At the same time, 198 children died and more than 355 were injured," the prosecutor's office said.
According to the data received by juvenile prosecutors, children suffered the most in the Donetsk region - 117, Kiev - 105, Kharkiv - 81, Chernihiv - 54, Mykolaiv - 40, Kherson - 38, in Lugansk - 36, Zaporozhye - 23, the capital - 16, Sumy - 16, Zhytomyr - 15.
The figures are not final, as investigations are ongoing in the areas of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
So, during the recording of criminal offenses committed in the territory of the city of Trostyanets, Sumy region, it was established that a 14-year-old boy died as a result of shelling by the Russian military on March 21.
On April 14, due to the shelling of the village of Aleksandrovka in the Kharkov region, two children aged 9 and 11 were wounded.
