Kyrgyz residents offered jobs in occupied Mariupol


Up to 100,000 roubles a month are offered for the work.

Telegram channels, where Kyrgyz labour migrants communicate, often circulate offers to go to work in Mariupol. They note that the city seems to be safe, and they promise to pay 80-100 thousand rubles per month.
Several sources confirmed that dozens of Kyrgyz nationals are currently working in Russia-occupied Mariupol. One of them, who wished not to disclose his name, spoke about the working conditions:
My acquaintances work there. They are paid 5,000 rubles a day and 100,000 rubles a month. They clean up Russia-occupied gardens and work on construction sites.
Russian human rights activist Valentina Chupik said migrants working in Mariupol can be classified as those involved in war crimes:
