- Zelensky called his meeting with Trump at the Vatican the most informative of all previous meetings

The meeting took place on 26 April at the Vatican.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commented on his meeting with US President Donald Trump, which took place on 26 April at the Vatican, noting that it was the most productive of all previous meetings. This is reported by the agency Interfax-Ukraine.
In my opinion, it was our most successful conversation. It may not be the longest, but it was extremely informative. The one-on-one format was effective - without intermediaries, directly. The atmosphere was as working as possible," the Ukrainian leader said.
Zelensky also expressed hope that the meeting influenced Trump's view of what is happening.
We'll see how he will act further - it's his personal decision. But we for our part behaved honestly and constructively, and this, as far as I am concerned, plays an important role, - he added.
We will remind, 26 April Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with US President Donald Trump at the funeral of Pope Francis. This happened for the first time after the quarrel in the White House at the end of February.
