AFU holds off Russians in Bakhmut and inflicts significant losses - Syrsky

The enemy is trying to take control of Bakhmut and is suffering heavy losses.
The commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ground troops, Oleksandr Syrskyy, has made this statement.
According to him, the Bakhmut direction remains the epicentre of the Russian offensive.
The enemy is concentrating the largest number of its forces in Bakhmut and dreams to take the city completely under its control. However, the Defence Forces are holding back the enemy's pressure in dynamic battles, inflicting significant losses," Syrsky said.
The colonel-general added that last night the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled an attack by the enemy and destroyed two UAVs: the Orlan and ZALA.
