Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed night strikes on Antonovsky bridge

The bridge is of strategic importance, as it is one of only three crossings across the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
On the night of August 14, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched another strike on the Antonovsky bridge in the Kherson region. This was announced by the speaker of the operational command "South" Natalia Gumenyuk on the air of a nationwide telethon.
Another blow was struck on the Antonovsky Bridge in order to secure its status definitively as impassable,” Gumenyuk said.
She added that the Ukrainian defenders continue fire control over the transport and logistics arteries in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
We have a clear intention to help the occupiers make the right decision and direct their next “goodwill gesture” in the direction we need,” Gumenyuk said.
The bridge was used by the Russians for the transfer of supplies, equipment, ammunition for their troops.
This is not the first strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Antonovsky Bridge. The Ukrainian military on the night of August 8 hit the bridge. The precise work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the attempts of the invaders to repair the bridge across the Dnieper River.
