The Russians are changing the tactics of shelling - expert

The command of the Russian army is changing the tactics of shelling the territory of Ukraine, trying to inflict maximum destruction during shelling. This was stated by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko.

He noted that they had to change tactics for several reasons. Firstly, the Russians are faced with effective opposition to Ukrainian air defense, and secondly, Russia is experiencing a shortage of missiles.

The air defense of Ukraine today is one of the most effective and combat-ready in the world, despite the fact that our missilemen have to operate with old Soviet equipment. And this is a fact,” the expert said.

He stressed that even, until recently, the Kalibr cruise missile, which was invulnerable and “unparalleled in the world”, is shot down by Ukrainian air defense with a probability of over 90%.

At the same time, Kovalenko noted that it is still difficult for Ukrainians to shoot down the Kinzhal. He also expressed the hope that Russia would soon run out of this type of missiles, since there should be no more than 40 of them on the territory of the Russian Federation. The enemy cannot mass-produce them, if only because of the high cost.

They have only one way out - to increase the number of one-time launches, to increase the overcoming of air defense, - the expert predicted.

He stressed that in this case, the Russians need regular delivery of weapons to airfields and bases.

That is, in the near future we will be able to observe an increase in pauses between shelling of the territory of Ukraine, but at the same time an increase in the quantitative one-time launch, Kovalenko added.
