Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Sunday, 22 January, the head of state said on Twitter.
Greetings in Kyiv to a true friend of Ukraine, Boris Johnson. Boris, thank you for your support!
The former British prime minister shared with the president his impressions of seeing the consequences of the Russian attacks in Kyiv. He also said that he was honoured to meet the Ukrainian leader.
Zelenskyy and Johnson held talks, but details have not been reported yet.
