Verkhovna Rada: Ukrainian power system cannot be restored over winter

It takes at least six months to manufacture new equipment.
The head of the Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, Andriy Gerus, was quoted by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada as saying. He said
The equipment, which is in the warehouses of our European partners, is already on its way to Ukraine, it is quickly transferred. However, during this winter it is impossible to restore all the damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The Ukrainian energy system is under constant shelling of the Russian occupiers, in Europe there is no such amount of equipment, which Ukraine requires, it takes at least six months to make it.
In addition, Gerus noted that some of the equipment is repaired by the energy sector using its own resources. As of today, over 75% of users already have access to electricity.
It is worth recalling that on 23 November, the Ukrainian energy system was subjected to a massive rocket attack by the Russians. As a result, thermal power plants, thermal power plants and electrical substations in Kiev, Kiev Region, Vinnitsa Region, Lviv Region and Zaporizhzhya Region were damaged.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that Ukraine's energy system had already been subjected to massive attacks by the occupants seven times.
