AFU explains why Russia is now trying to use drones at night

Russian drones are harder to detect at night.
Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this during a TV marathon.
In his opinion, the main reason why Russian troops try to attack Ukraine with drones at night or in the dark is the desire to confuse the Ukrainian air defence system.
The tactics inherent in the use of these UAVs is at night. The conditions of poor visibility, because at night they are visually difficult to detect in the dark by means that shoot them down - these include small arms and anti-aircraft missiles. Therefore it is the radar means that detect them and the anti-aircraft missile systems and other firing means that shoot them down.
In addition, before a strike, the enemy conducts reconnaissance to discover the weaknesses of the air defence force and to keep it out of range.
