Body found near Kharkiv of man shot by Russian military during occupation


Examination of the body revealed signs of violent death.
law enforcers have exhumed the body of a 56-year-old local resident in Kharkiv Region's Tsyrkuny village, the Office of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine has said.
Last May, the man was shot dead by Russian servicemen during the occupation of Tsyrkuniv," the report said.
Examination of the corpse revealed signs of violent death.
The corpse was sent for examination to establish the cause of death," the prosecutor's office added.
We would like to point out that Russian troops are planning to reoccupy Kharkiv Region's populated areas de-occupied in the autumn of 2022.
As of 15 February, about 20 settlements in Kharkiv Region are under Russian control.
