49 countries and the European Union have issued a joint statement condemning the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Reintegration.

It is noted that the document was created in response to Russia's attempts to organize an informal meeting of the UN Security Council at which it tried to justify the deportation of Ukrainian children.

Additionally, the UN Security Council blocked a video broadcast of Russian children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, against whom the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant.

We condemn the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, including the forced deportation of Ukrainian children, as well as other grave violations against children committed by Russian troops in Ukraine," the statement said. - No amount of disinformation disseminated by the Russian Federation can deny the truth of this issue or protect people from responsibility for these crimes.
