Ukrainian refugees may have died in queues on the border between Latvia and Russia

Ukrainian refugees are stuck on the Russian borders towards the Baltic countries.
Ukrainians in line at Russian checkpoints sleep on the street for several days.
It is reported that citizens of Russia and the European Union pass the border relatively quickly. At the same time, Ukrainians are allowed to give only a few people a day by Russian border guards. About it writes "Delfi."
On the borders of hell, and people in hell. In Burachki (border checkpoint - ed.) It is already a humanitarian catastrophe, - says Rubicus volunteer Svetlana Vodolazhskaya.
Delfi, citing volunteers from the Rubicus organization, writes that several people died in the queues. In particular, an 80-year-old woman died at the Ubilinka-Grebnevo border checkpoint on the Russian-Latvian border, and another older woman died at the Kunicheskaya Gora checkpoint on the Russian-Estonian border, probably from a stroke.
Bus carriers take people to the border and unload them - and another bus is waiting for them on the other side. But it would help if you still lived up to it: spend several days in line in the open, spending the night right on the street. People sleep on cardboard, on pallets, on oilcloths - and many did not even bring a thermos with them, writes Delfi.
