Kyiv authorities have created a sufficient reserve of iodine preparations for citizens

The Department of Municipal Security of the Kyiv City State Administration reported that the evacuation commission is responsible for direct planning, preparation, organization, and, if necessary, implementation of evacuation in their areas. This was reported by the press service of the KSCA concerning the Department of Municipal Security of the KSCA.

If evacuation is required, potassium iodide will be given to the population in the contaminated zone at evacuation points, according to the doctors' recommendations.

Potassium iodide in the public domain can be purchased at the city's pharmacies, and the Department of Health of the KSCA has stocks of potassium iodide.

In the event of a radiation hazard or a threat, the Department of Health will provide them with public health facilities and family doctors of the city, the KSCA said.

Recall that without an official recommendation, potassium iodide should in no case be prescribed to oneself and taken “for prevention”!
