The KSCA gave an explanation regarding the possible evacuation of the city

The network spread information about the possible evacuation of Kyiv or its individual areas.
Kyiv is not being prepared for evacuation, and officials also do not intend to relocate residents from any of its districts. This was stated by the director of the Department of Municipal Security Roman Tkachuk, according to the KSCA website.
Thus, he refuted the information circulated by a number of media that Kyiv was allegedly being prepared for mandatory evacuation.
There is no talk about evacuation from Kyiv or from its individual districts at all. Yes, there are evacuation commissions in every district, they were created a long time ago, in case of completely different emergencies - from floods to accidents at critical infrastructure facilities, - he explained.
Tkachuk noted that a number of media outlets misinterpreted information about the training, during which the evacuation of the population was practiced. He also stressed that they are planned.
At the same time, the official agreed that the city's civil protection system is working in an enhanced mode and all emergency services should always be ready to respond to any emergency.
This is the main task of the system, especially now, when Ukraine is experiencing the blows of the aggressor every day,” he said.
Tkachuk urged city residents to be vigilant and trust only official and verified information.
Recall, in addition to the Donetsk region, mandatory evacuation may be announced in parts of the territories of Kharkiv, Zaporozhye and Mykolaiv regions.
