The Cabinet told whether there will be an increase in the salaries of state employees

The government does not plan to increase the salaries of employees of other state bodies, whose remuneration is regulated by special laws, as well as employees of tax and customs authorities. This is stated in the explanatory note to the bill on the state budget for 2023.

From January 1, 2023, the amount of the official salary of an employee and the tariff category of the Unified Tariff Scale will be UAH 2,893. Salaries will be calculated from the subsistence minimum of UAH 2,102, the explanatory note to the bill says.

The official salary is at least 44.5% of the minimum wage.
