Despite the fourth month of the war with Russia, 17 centers of the "Putin's Policy Party" continue to operate in Ukraine.

It is reported by YouControl with reference to data from the Unified State Register in the system.

The largest number of party cells named after the President of Russia is registered in the occupied Crimea - there are seven of them. However, there are also in other regions of Ukraine. Two in the Mykolaiv region. One each in Kyiv, Odessa, Donetsk, Rakhiv, Poltava, Kharkov, Kherson and Khmelnitsky.

The Putin Party appeared in Ukraine long before the full-scale invasion and even before the Revolution of Dignity. She is the heiress of the political force "United Rus", which was formed in 2003 and advocated the economic integration of the countries of the post-Soviet space. One of its founders was the ex-People's Deputy Oleksandr Remenyuk. In 2004, the party was supported in the presidential election of Viktor Yanukovych. In 2005, the party was rebranded and the following year it went to the parliamentary elections as the Putin Party. True, the party did not get into the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, gaining only 0.12% of the vote. After the failure in the elections, the parties returned the old name "United Rus", but the regional centers continued to bear the name of Putin.

In September 2021, a story about the activities of this party in Ukraine was released.

In it, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine explained that it had filed a lawsuit against the registration of the party and its withdrawal from the register. The official reason for the lawsuit is the discrepancy between the name of the party and the names of its cells. The preparatory meeting was to be held in November last year.

By the way, "United Rus" in Ukraine today also continues to exist. There are 10 functioning party organizations registered in the country.
