The missiles will be able to fly a distance of about 130 kilometres.

This was reported by Bloomberg citing its sources.

On Friday, the US is expected to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine.

According to Western media, the financial size of the package will be about 2.2 billion dollars, and for the first time it should include long-range GPS-guided missiles.

The high-precision missiles will be funded by the $1.75 billion Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which is expected to be announced on Friday, with an initial allocation of no more than $200 million, according to one official.

The missiles would be able to fly a range of about 130 kilometres, twice the range of the current missiles fired from Himars launchers, which have become a valuable asset to Ukrainian forces.
